Joss Whedon is very well known by his fans for always including a strong female character. He’s also known for killing a character everyone loves. i’m talking about his ladies. As some of you may know, Whedon was actually raised by a single mother, which he’s said contributed to the way he portrays women.
We here at The Adventures in Nerdom love Whedon and we love strong women. So, in honor of 2013 being the year of the fangirl, we will be spotlighting our favorite female nerd icons.
